How to Take Measurements for Sizing

To make a helmet, breastplate, arms, or legs, I will need particular measurements. All measurements must be taken over padding.

1A-Circumference of head just above ears

1B-width from ear to ear

1C-width from between eyes to back of head

1D-distance from top of head to middle of neck

2A-circumference just under arms

2B-circumference at smallest point of waist

2C-distance at widest point of hips

2D-length from top of shoulders to thinnest point of waist

2E-length from top of shoulders to just under arms

2F-length of tasksets

3A-Length from arming point to mid point of upper arm

3B-Desired width of spaulders

4A-circumference of arms at widest point

4B- circumference of arms at elbow

4C-circumference of arms at wrist

4D-length from wrist to elbow

4E-length from elbow to mid point of upper arm

5A-circumference at widest point of upper legs

5B-circumference at knee

5C-circumference at widest portion of lower leg

5D-circumference just above ankle

5E-length from hip to knee

5F-length from knee to ankle
